As D1 Nashville's clinic manager and physical therapist, Joe evaluates and treats injured athletes and non-athletes. He forms a treatment plan and sets up goals with the patient in order to return the athlete back to his/her prior level of function. He also assesses those who may be experiencing an injury and can refer them to a doctor for further evaluation. Joe also works closely with D1’s coaches to assist the athletes in returning to their sport and staying injury-free.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Belmont University where he received a Bachelor's of Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy respectively. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy, Tennessee Physical Therapy, and National Strength & Conditioning Associations. Joe is the co-founder of Sports Medicine/ Rehab SIG and is a member of the Titleist Performance Institute. 

Matthew Webb 
Physical Therapy Tech

As a physical therapy tech, Matthew is responsible for assisting the D1 Nashville physical therapists with clinical duties such as demonstrating exercises to patients and help aid in the recovery process. He is responsible for notifying physicians of a patient’s progress, verifying insurance, and explaining benefits to patients.
