Bruce Nicoara
Facility Coordinator / Physical Therapist

As facility coordinator of D1 Knoxville, Bruce oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility and is responsible for facilitating the D1 training programs and techniques, managing facility personnel, directing special events and marketing. Bruce also acts as the liaison for D1, maintaining relationships with clients, parents, schools, club sports and community leaders.
Bruce holds a degree in Health Promotion from Auburn University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. He is a certified Health Fitness Specialist, and a member of the American Physical Therapy, Tennessee Physical Therapy, and National Strength & Conditioning Associations.

Amy Haurilak-Stuck
Operations Manager
As operations manager of D1 Knoxville, Amy's primary role is managing D1's membership program, including all customer relations and service. Amy also assists in the management of the day-to-day operations of the facility, including marketing and sales.
In addition, Amy is responsible for assisting the D1 Knoxville physical therapists with clinical duties such as demonstrating exercises to patients and help aid in the recovery process. She is responsible for notifying physicians of a patient’s progress, verifying insurance, and explaining benefits to patients.

Zarif Karwandyar

As a strength & speed coach, Zarif is responsible for assisting D1 athletes become faster, stronger and more agile, while also building character. He instills the D1 training philosophy by properly implementing and teaching training programs and techniques.
Zarif is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received a degree in Finance.

Dunstan Kendrick

As a strength & speed coach, Dunstan is responsible for assisting D1 athletes become faster, stronger and more agile, while also building character. He instills the D1 training philosophy by properly implementing and teaching training programs and techniques.
Dunstan is a graduate of Sequoyah High School and Western Carolina University where he received a degree in Exercise Science and Fitness Management. He was a 4 year letterman and one year starter for the Western Carolina football team. After graduating from Western Carolina, Dunstan was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Tennessee for their football and cheerleading teams.

Adam Chambers

Adam is a recruiting coordinator for D1 Knoxville. He acts as a liaison for D1 Knoxville, educating the public about D1’s mission and how D1 can benefit them through training programs and therapy services. He is also responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with clients, parents, schools, club sports and community leaders.
Adam is a graduate of Lambuth University in Jackson, TN. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management, concentrating in Health and Human Performance.
Adam completed an internship and was then hired as a recruiter for two years at Gold's Gym in Jackson. He also worked at Titus Sports Academy, now Solus Performance Training, also in Jackson. Adam lettered on Carson-Newman's football team as a quarterback, and was a part of two national runner-up teams. He also played football for Lambuth.
