Adam Kerley

As a D1 Knoxville physical therapist, Adam evaluates and treats injured athletes and non-athletes. He forms a treatment plan and sets up goals with the patient in order to return the athlete back to his/her prior level of function. Adam also assesses those who may be experiencing an injury and can refer those to a doctor for further evaluation.

Adam is a graduate of East Tennessee State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. He has several years experience and has held positions in fitness facilities, health systems, collegiate athletic programs, and has been involved in the provision of advanced sports training services. Adam is active in the local sports medicine outreach program through Tennessee Orthopedic Clinics.

He is a certified Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Adam has published physical therapy related articles and has been a speaker at multiple physical therapy and sports medicine seminars.

Bruce Nicoara
Facility Coordinator / Physical Therapist

As a D1 Knoxville physical therapist, Bruce evaluates and treats injured athletes and non-athletes. He forms a treatment plan and sets up goals with the patient in order to return the athlete back to his/her prior level of function. Bruce also assesses those who may be experiencing an injury and can refer those to a doctor for further evaluation.

Bruce holds a degree in Health Promotion from Auburn University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. He is a certified Health Fitness Specialist, and a member of the American Physical Therapy, Tennessee Physical Therapy, and National Strength & Conditioning Associations.

Amy Haurilak-Stuck
Operations Manager

As operations manager of D1 Knoxville, Amy's primary role is managing D1's  membership program, including all customer relations and service. Amy also assists in the management of the day-to-day operations of the facility, including marketing and sales.

In addition, Amy is responsible for assisting the D1 Knoxville physical therapists with clinical duties such as demonstrating exercises to patients and help aid in the recovery process. She is responsible for notifying physicians of a patient’s progress, verifying insurance, and explaining benefits to patients.
