"My son, Chase, is 9 years old.  He is a baseball player.  During the Fall of 2009, my husband and I decided to start him at D1 to stay in shape during the off-season.  When baseball season came around, we could see a marked improvement in Chase's coordination, speed, and overall agility.  He can run faster, change direction more quickly, and has better body awareness and endurance.  Although he has always been a good baseball player, he is now a better athlete.

I am now a true believer in the D1 theory.  It is so much more than the average workout gym.  Chase loves his coaches and is very motivated by them.  He loves going to D1 because the workouts always change and are always fun.  Thank you so much for your facility, and for all that he has learned there."

"When I was approached about the possibility of getting involved with a new D1 facility in Huntsville, I jumped at the chance. I am from the Huntsville area and it means a lot to me to be part of a sports facility that will greatly benefit athletes in northern Alabama. Not all young athletes have the luxury of having a coach at home. I have seen first hand how D1 benefits athletes by making them faster, stronger and more agile – all this without losing sight of the importance of building character and developing good young men and women. D1 Huntsville is a place for athletes to go and get better at their sport, while providing the structure and character building tools that will benefit them as adults. D1 Huntsville is THE PLACE for athletes in northern Alabama and I’m excited to be a part of it."
