As a D1 Columbus physical therapist, Chris evaluates and treats injured athletes and non-athletes. He forms a treatment plan and sets up goals with the patient in order to return the athlete back to his/her prior level of function. He also assesses those who may be experiencing an injury and can refer them to a doctor for further evaluation. Chris also work closely with D1’s coaches to assist the athletes in returning to their sport and staying injury-free.

Chris has more than 20 years of orthopaedic and sports medicine experience.  He has a BS degree in Physical Therapy from Ohio University and his Masters of Health Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis.  Chris is a PhD candidate in Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College Natural Health.  He is a certified strength and conditioning coach (NSCA, CSCS) and a Level II youth fitness specialist (IYCA).  He  is a strength and conditioning consultant for Buckeye Gymnastics and Coretactix Self Defense and Fitness Center. He also lectures nationally on topics including rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.
